Metoidioplasty without Urethral Lengthening

What is the recovery process after a metoidioplasty without urethral lengthening?

You typically will stay in the hospital 1-3 days following the surgery.

You will have two urinary tubes to drain the bladder: one in the urethra and one above your pubic bone. These will stay in place about 4 to 6 weeks. If there are issues with healing, sometimes these tubes stay in longer.
